Desperate appeal: donations needed to repair our animal welfare

Since 2015, we started with a few volunteers trying to take care of some dogs that were found as strays in Andros. We searched and found a place for them to keep them safe before their veterinary care and adoption.

Over the years, we've housed around 400 stray dogs. Most of them have been adopted by wonderful families, with whom we keep in touch and update us with photos regularly.

Unfortunately, this space won't be in good condition to accommodate our dogs in the coming Winter.

• It needs a new insulation panel roof
• Necessary dividers between the cage areas
• New doors on four cages
• We need extra cages in a seperate space. The cages are necessary so that we can put the dogs that are sterilized in for a few days until they recover.
• Gross concrete in a part of the yard, in which there is still soil. It cannot be cleaned easily, as a result, it is a source of contamination.

The budget for all of this is 10,000 euros including materials and labor. As soon as a sufficient amount is collected, we will order all the materials and hopefully, in September the repair will begin so that Winter will find our dogs in warm and above all safe spaces :)
