DESIGNER PARTICIPATION AT AFRICA FASHION WEEK NIGERIA

https://teshieogallo.com/shop Hey there. My name is Teshie Ogallo. I am a 24 year old Kenyan fashion designer based in Cape Town, South Africa. I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Computer Science. While in school I realised that fashion was my calling. I taught myself how to sew by watching YouTube videos and practising all through university. After graduation, I took the leap to follow my dreams and pursue fashion as a career. I also enrolled into a fashion school part time, Cape Town College of Fashion Design. I have always believed in the future and success of Africa as a whole. One of my main business goals is to expand my brand to be accessible to a global African audience. There is so much beauty and diversity in this continent that I love to show through my designs. Last year, I really wanted to take part in Africa Fashion Week Nigeria as a showcasing designer but was unfortunately unable to raise the funds to do so. I am currently working 3 jobs and really pushing myself to raise the necessary funds to make this dream a reality. I have managed to raise enough money and pay for a spot in the designer line up but I need your help. Flights to Nigeria and accommodation are really expensive and I am struggling to come up with the necessary funds especially because I have so many bills to pay, being a solely independent woman living away from home. My ask to you is to help me out with any amount you can afford. A little will go a really long way.
