Hello,
My name is Betty Hays. The title is a little off. The woman I call my mom is not in truth my birth mother. She is however the woman that saved me from myself. I wouldn't be here without her. Her name is Gena Hull. She is an amazing person. She has been through a lot. She has lived through breast cancer twice. She raised her two daughters and then me by herself. She has been a mother figure to most of our friends as well. Everyone knows that Momma will give them food, a safe place to sleep, advice, and love. She has been beaten, raped, and put through hell. And through it all, she has been an amazing mom, sister, and friend. She never lost her faith in God.
Gena finally found her true love. A true southern gentleman named Dennis Craig. She had been single for seven years, focusing on all of us kids, before meeting the man I know claim as Dad. They have been together for 3 years now and are engaged.

Gena is disabled due to fibromyalgia, COPD, and other illnesses that affect her muscles, joints, and nerve endings. She has had multiple surgeries, including back surgery. And she is facing neck surgery soon. She can still walk and move around with some difficulties. Most days people don't even know she is in excruciating pain, she hides it well.
I am telling you all of this because I believe that out of everyone I have ever meet, my mom Gena Hull deserves a beautiful wedding. They have yet to set a date or even a place because of money problems. I hope you can help me. And thank you for taking the time to read this.
