Violin Performance to Raise Money for Music Instruments and Lessons to Underprivileged Children

Hi, my name is Deron. I am 12 years old, and I want to talk to you about a charity group that I care deeply about. It is called the HopeThroughMusic Foundation. I have included their website here and below for your information.

HopeThroughMusic is a charity with a mission to provide free music education to underprivileged children from low-income families in Hong Kong. The charity’s vision is to improve the life of underprivileged children and enhance social harmony through music education. Finally, their aim is to promote “music, character, care, and harmony” through music education.

The charity provides lessons for children to sing in the choir or to learn to play musical instruments. Through music, the charity aims to help these children build good character and confidence and enable them to strive for a better future. The students and volunteers also contribute back to the local community with free concerts to the elderly, single parents, and people with disabilities.

HopeThroughMusic relies on donations from all of us to carry out its mission. I am honored to be able to collaborate with them to start this fundraising performance. I aim to raise at least 25,000HKD for the foundation so they can buy instruments, book practice venues, and purchase music scores.
