Depressed & Nowhere To Turn

I have nowhere to turn.

Hello everyone,

I honestly have no idea where to start. I am so down in the dumps and depressed because of the financial situation I’m in. I’ve contemplated suicide because of the terrible state I’ve found myself in.

I owe over £20,000 in debt to credit cards, payday loans and personal loans. It all started 6 years ago when I took out a £300 payday loan in order to visit my grandparents who had fallen ill abroad. I needed the money for a flight and I was in a low paying job at the time.

I couldn’t pay it back in time, and ever since the debt has gone into thousands and thousands. I’ve taken out credit cards and personal loans to try and pay them off but I’m back where I started as the interest is too high. I’ve recently lost my job, am trying to provide for my 3 kids at Christmas and if I can’t get something sorted I will more than likely take my own life because it’s all I think about every day and every night.

My kids deserve a better life than what I’m giving them. I have no other family or friends to help. I’m so alone and in need of desperate help.
