Reason for medical donation

Over the last several years my insurance has continually decreased the dental coverage and has substantially increased the deductibles which has made them very expensive and impossible to pay.

Choosing my daughter's teeth over mine

The choice over the years has been between taking care of my teeth or my daughter's teeth. As a parent I chose my daughter's health because I felt that her teeth are more important than mine. Fortunately she has had only 1 cavity & no other dental work done. I feel that I have made the right choice. I would rather deal with the pain & discomfort of bad teeth than my daughter having to go through these health issues.

Cost increases of dental care and health concerns

Choosing my daughter's dental care over mine because of all the cost increases has led to all of my teeth either being infected, pitted, missing, broken or impacted. I need all of my teeth surgically removed and replaced with dental implants. I've had an initial consultation and I've been told that my bone structure is perfect for dental implant surgery. if I don't get this surgery in the near future, there's a possibility that I could get gum disease which could lead major health issues such as the following: head and neck cancer, pancreatic or kidney cancer, Alzheimer's disease as I get older. rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes or a stroke. I'm hoping to get this surgery before it becomes emergency surgery which could he be even more expensive.

Being healthy & always there for my daughter

I want to make sure that I am always healthy for my daughter so that I can take care of her and help her with any issues in her life.

What to expect during the dental implant process

The dental implant process would require me to have the first appointment which is called a smile design consultation to determine what my teeth would look like after they have been implanted. The second appointment would be to get surgery to have all of my teeth extracted and a partial set of teeth made for me to wear up to a year while my gums and jaw bones heal. The final appointment is to go to the dental implant office and have my partial set of teeth removed and then get fitted for my final permanent dental implants that would be made and secured in my mouth on that day. Several appointments over the following years would be required to make sure they're all of the implants are secure, strong and not causing any discomfort.

Appreciation for donations & benefits

Any donations for my dental implants would be appreciated. It would be nice to not have to worry about eating a carrot and having a piece of my tooth fall out or have food get caught in my teeth which causes severe pain. It would also be nice not to have to switch sides while eating if my gums are hurting on the other side of my mouth. It would be great to be able to finally smile and not have to hide my teeth or say I don't want to get pictures taken so people can't see what my teeth look like in the future.

All donation money will go directly to the dental implant center

All dental implant donation money would go directly to the dental implant center that would be doing the appointments, consultation and surgery.

Please consider helping me get this life improving dental implant surgery. When I retire from my job years from now, I hope that I can work at Disney World & share the story of all of the generous people that had helped me have a great smile, healthy life & not be afraid to show my teeth. I appreciate your consideration of my request & hope to be able to get this surgery within the next 6 months if possible. If not, I will get it when I can get it in the future.
