Campaign Story
Dan & Sarah (Stampede.Events) and their friend and fellow logistics guy Richard Krysiak (Man with a Van Tarragona) will be taking two vehicles to the Polish/Ukrainian border, to deliver aid to support to those fleeing the war in Ukraine. The vehicles will return to Barcelona Province with refugees to be accommodated in the region.
Aid supplies are being collected locally on the ground, but this page has been set up in the hope that you kind people out there can help support the effort. The funds will be used to support the 3600 mile round journey and the refugees we return with, buy more vital aid – such as medical equipment, battery packs, sanitary products, nappies, food & drink and warm supplies. This effort is being coordinated with a contact to an NGO in Poland. Catalonian regional council, are providing support to the refugees on return, but we can make other drops en-route.
We will be cataloguing and sharing the journey via socials, so that we can show you how donations are being used and to raise more awareness.
We realise this is a difficult time for many people, with rising fuel prices and businesses still impacted by the pandemic. Still, anything you can spare will be gratefully received and will make a massive difference to the collaborative effort in assisting Ukrainians who are displaced, heartbroken and traumatised by the horrors of this attack on their country.
We are just three people, like many, who just want to do whatever we can to help.
