My birthday is coming up this week and this year, I want to do something different by asking each of you to help donate to Deepalaya, an NGO that has a mission to serve the underprivileged people of North India (specifically New Delhi & Harayana area). This organization is focused on bringing up children from the slums of New Delhi and providing them with a home and education so that they can become self-reliant. Deepalaya also supports Women Empowerment- they teach women about microfinancing and many other topics that will help them to support their own families. Deepalaya believes that educating a woman is equivalent to educating the whole family. Please support this cause by making a donation of any amount. Anything will be much appreciated!
