SUPPORT DEDE BRODEUR – A TRUE PATRIOT!

Have you ever met someone who has impacted so many people in a positive way? This is a story about Barbara (Dede) Brodeur who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 inoperable lung cancer.She’s on oxygen 24/7. Dede has dedicated her adult life to her faith and helping others in need. Over the course of the past twenty plus years, she has opened her home to more than 30 children and young adults. A single parent and mother of two adult women, she became a foster mom to help female teens in need. Upon receiving a call from social services to take in 3 small children, ages 2, 4 and 6, Dede did not hesitate in opening her home and heart. Even though from a different country and culture, Dede could not bear to see the young siblings separated from each other. She not only took them in but developed a special bond and love for them that soon after she legally adopted them. They are now 20, 18 and 16 years old, and have grown into amazing young adults.

That’s just a small sampling of the kind, generous, loving person she is. Now it’s time to give back to Dede as she lives out the remainder of her life. Her illness has progressed to a point where she requires handicap accessibility both inside and outside her home. We would like to raise the funds to assist in this endeavor as well as help with her medical and everyday living expenses as she can no longer work to support her family.
