I know this might be a long shot but I have to try as I am running out of ideas and my stress seems to grow! I am trying to raise money for my family to get a decent running car. Five years ago I bought a 2001 Dodge Neon with income tax and savings I worked very hard for. This was the first car that I bought for my kids and myself by myself. I took care of that car the best I could and I am a safe driver. I used my car to help my parents get where ever they needed to go as well as my brothers, friends, and anyone else who needed a ride somewhere. I was constantly driving for someone or something. I have been the only one in my family to have a car in the past 7 years until now.

As some of you who might be reading this know, my family has been through quite a lot over the years. We have taken some really hard blows and it has been really difficult to pick up the peices afterwards.  This is the most recent drama we have had to endure and I am not sure I can "dust myself off" without some help this time. On Augst 4th 2013, we were on our way home from the grocery store when a man in a big red truck pulled out of a shopping center headed for the far lane going in the opposide direction. He smashed into our car with extream excellaration leaving our car totaled. After he hit our car he backed up and took off through the shopping center parking lot never to be seen again. There were no cameras to get him on tape and though it was 4:45 pm in broad day light on a very busy street we only had one witness. Our witness took down the wrong plate number, but atleast he tried and I do thank him for that. Needless to say the man who hit us has gotten away with what he did and has left my family to suffer. My insurance company won't help me either because at the time of me buying insurance 2 years ago when we moved here, they failed to tell me about unisured motorist insurance and what it was. I thought the insurance I had is all I needed and I kept up with it as to abide by the law. Were I had moved from didn't have the insurance seperate, it was an all in one insurance. My boyfriend lost his better paying job and the only work he has found in walking/biking distance is part time minimum wage. Before the wreck I myself had planned on going back to work/school when the kids started school this month. I have been out of work for a long while to stay at home with my disabled 4 year old who was recieving in home therapy. This year he was excepted full time into a special school for special needs kids that would work with him there. That had finally gave me a chance to go to work. Now without having reliable transportation no one seems to want to give me a shot at employment. We need a car to find work, take my 4 year old son to his Drs./specilist, buy groceries, and take both the kids to and from school when needed. We are barely able to keep a roof over our heads with our current income and on top of that I know owe over $4000 in hospital bills from the wreck that I don't think can ever be paid. This man who hit us probably has no idea how much he has already taken away from my family and has set back some very important future goals we have as a growing family. We really need help and I hope that who ever reads this can understand our situation. I promise any donations made will be used towards a car for our family and I will pay it forward anytime I am able! If you can't help that's understandable but we welcome any and all prayers as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this and bless you and yours.

P.S. Please share our story with your friends and family. Thank you.
