Dean’s Medical Fund

My name is Asmita Jani and I live in London.  On October 31, 2014 my son was attacked by an aggressive tiger shark while surfing with a friend.  Thankfully, my surfboard received most of the damage but my hand was caught in the shark's teeth as he bit down around the board.Although he is extremely fortunate to only have suffered relatively minor injuries to his hand, sharks' teeth are awefully sharp, and his fingers required over 50 stitches and, because of the extent of the injury, he is awaiting a trip to Oahu where he will receive a skin graft to put those precious digits all back together.  As lucky as he is to tell the story, he is one among many without health insurance and the medical bills will be piling up, while my hours at work are not.And, as much as I like to make my own way in the world, I could really use some help.I'm hoping for a speedy recovery so he can get back to his jobs, but in the meantime, any donations raised will be met with overwhelming gratitude and will be used for his medical expenses.
