D.A. Vinci Guitars is a brand established in 2015 in a small home workshop by me, Dinko Abdic, a self-taught luthier doing what I do best, designing and creating electric guitars and basses. After 5 years, I've decided to bring my game to a new level and try to make D.A. Vinci guitars a registered brand and business.
My goal is to create the first ever Bosnian designed electric guitar influenced by Bosnian culture and rich musical heritage.
For all of this this to happen we need funding for the professional machinery and luthiery tools commonly used in the guitar making industry, as well as funding for the raw materials and guitar parts that we currently do not have a way of manufacturing.
We are in the process of manufacturing our original guitar bridge and a prototype will be made soon for testing.
If we reach above our designated goal, all of the extra funding will go into creating one or more electric guitars that D.A. Vinci guitars will donate to music schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina and other non-profit organizations that have a music program. This is a trend that I hope to continue in the future of D.A. Vinci guitars, as well as starting a local luthiery course for young musicians who wish to learn all about guitar building in which they will design and build their own guitar or bass and learn about luthiery in the process.
