Dave & Steven’s Upcoming Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic!

We're going to the Dominican Republic!! I am excited about an opportunity to participate in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in October 2015. While my son Steven and I will be attending, my remaining family will be supporting us with prayer from home. On our trip, along with the others from the Five Rivers Church in Elkton Maryland, we will be spreading God’s Word and working on desperately needed facilities for a church and school in Puerto Plata.

Our mission will be to continue building on the projects that are already underway because of previous teams, or to begin a new phase of construction. In either case, the expansion is desperately needed for the growing church and school.

I am asking you to help my son and I by financially defraying the cost of the airfare and in country expenses. Our pastor has been working with the missionaries and the construction supervisor to keep the cost as low as possible. Round-trip airfare and room and board will be $682 per person, ($1362 for the both of us), which is due by September 1 in order to secure our group rate. Steven and I have already raised $615, but we need your help to raise the remainder. No amount is too big or too small, and any amount would be greatly appreciated!
