Daughter of Cancer Survivor Needs Open Heart Surgery

SUMMARY

My good friend Hannah Laserna needs heart surgery in two weeks, and I'm knocking on your generous hearts for donation.

WHY YOU SHOULD HELP

Around 8 years ago, Hannah's family offered their home to me after learning that I had been sleeping at my company's sleeping quarters for over a week. They took me in, gave a home, fed me, treated me like a daughter, and accepted me into their family without asking for anything in return.

Not even once in the whole year that I stayed with them.

That's the kind of people they are. They help wholeheartedly and unconditionally. They're the very definition of GOOD PEOPLE.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am now had I not met them during one of the most challenging times in my life.

They are my angels on earth.

And now, they're the ones in need.

A YEAR AGO - THE CANCER SCARE

A year ago, Hannah's mom was diagnosed with cancer. This meant hundreds of thousands in medical bills, medicines, and day to day expenses. Our family is thankful to everyone who reached out and helped. But the reality is, we're all out of resources. :(

And now, we're facing another challenge.

OPEN HEART SURGERY - AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

About a week ago, we were heartbroken to find out that Hannah has Valvular Heart Disease and SEVERE Mitral Valve Regurgitation. We went to three doctors and all of them suggested that she undergo an open-heart surgery ASAP, so they can replace her Mitral Valve. Otherwise, she might suffer (and die) from heart failure.

With this operation, the doctors said that she has to prepare at least P700,000.

WHO IS HANNAH

Hannah is not only a good friend, but she is also a great daughter, sister, and most importantly, the best mom to her baby boy. She has dedicated her life to making sure that she can raise a good man. She is the kind of mother who always puts her son first, who is willing to do anything to make sure her son has the best in life.

Please help me make sure that this amazing Mom gets to see her baby boy grow up. Every cent counts and every prayer is appreciated.
