"My mum was an amazing person, caring kind and strong. She was a nurse professionally and worked hard, unfortunately about 10 years ago she was forced to quit her job and get on a health pension. She was no longer eligible for life insurance or health cover. The medical system ignored her for a long time. Eventually mum suffered severe depression, and developed phobias of leaving the house. I have myself have struggled to financially stabilise as a single father, and at this time, I have been unable to come up with enough money to give my mum the right send off. Please if you can help! Again thanks to everyone so far, you support will never be forgotton!"

The sudden death of a beloved family member is shocking and heartbreaking, and this can be hard enough on its own. However, now the added funeral costs is leaving the remaining family strambling for funds to give Darlene the send off she deserves. We know there's not much time to raise enough funds by the deadline (which is Monday the 29th of September), but we thought we'd try. Every dollar, every cent counts, and makes it easier. Funds update: i have had an anonomous donation, given to me personally, And as such I only require a total of $1730.00 as a total now. Unfortunatly my friends and family have now completely drained all of our accounts. I am eternely greatfull for all the help, without the great people helping through this, Im not sure I would have been capable of anything. With 2 days to go till mums funeral I have starting to have a small panic though! Generally I would be to proud to allow this, however there is times you just have to drop the pride and ask!. Sorry Please help! I only ask for the amount needed, no more!. Kyle Hancock- Loving son of Darlene Hancock

Having lost my mother to cancer when I was younger, I can only begin to understand the pain and grief that you must be feeling. I just want you to know that, even though I don't know you, that there are people who care for you and your family.

Truly! Thanks everyone! My mum was an amazing person, caring kind and strong. She was a nurse professionally and worked hard, unfortunately about 10 years ago she was forced to quit her job and get on a health pension.
