Dare2Dream Volunteer Trip for Chris Santi

I significantly value well-rounded education because it’s taught me a significant amount about the world and how it’s important to learn from other cultures. I believe these are important skills that everyone should have access to and would like to do my part to give or improve the education of young Chinese kids! I have travelled as much as I can to many various places including Cuba, Colombia, Peru, and Western Europe but have always wanted to take the opportunity to volunteer and contribute my skills to those in need. This summer I’ll be pursuing that opportunity working at a primary school in Hefei, China for 6-weeks, giving lessons and exposing them to American and Hispanic culture while at the same time learn about theirs. Since I will be going as a volunteer, I’ll be funding almost all my expenses while I am there. As a college student also paying tuition and housing during the year, I would greatly appreciate a generous donation to help me offset the cost of the flight and visa to begin this volunteer opportunity!
