Danny Elfman in Los Angeles

As a lifelong Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo fan, a friend from Los Angeles offered a chance to attend the Halloween Night concert of his music from Batman, Bettlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.  In addition to the symphonic performances, Danny Elfman will be performing his vocal parts from some of the songs from Nightmare.  Having never seen him perform live, this is likely one of the last times I'll ever get to see Danny Elfman in person.

I did some requests for help over facebook and offered to do work for people in exchange for help making this trip.  Within 2 hours, I had reached the amount I needed to fund my flight out to join my friend.   

Sadly, the circumstances of that invitation have changed.  The ticket I was offered is no longer available.  Additionally, some of the donations were in the form of some contract work that is no longer an option, and so my funding has dropped back to a level where I cannot make the trip unless I raise at least another $350.  

I am happy to do work for every penny that is donated.   If there's something you'd like me to do, just select a reward when you pledge.  

Things I can do: Web Design, Video Editing, Minor Graphic Design, Party Planning, Haunted House Building and Design, Bartending, Cooking, Catering, and a wide array of menial and entertainment-oriented tasks.  So if you have something I could do for you... please let me know.

If you ever attended one of my halloween parties and had a good time, please consider helping me make this trip, as much of the music and inspiration I got came directly from Danny Elfman.  I regularly lost over over $1000 each year hosting that event, and at it's peak I lost $2500 in one year.  If everyone who came to any of my entertinment events offered me $1, I could make this trip several times over.

I was not going to crowd-source this after getting some extremely negative feedback from friends when I proposed it, but others have convinced me that this is how they'd like to help... so here it is.
