DANDELION PROJECT: MAKE THE WISHES COME TRUE
Dandelion Project is set to help marginalized people transform their lives through education. As we all know, literacy helps us solve problems such as poverty, unemployment, criminal activities, and terrorism. This won't be possible unless are able to gather and unite the international help and concern.
Our latest project is to build a residential school for underprivileged students in a local area in Iran. The under-privileged children can now look forward to a formal education up to senior secondary level in a residential school. We are given in-principle approval to a project to set up a residential school with the help of an non-government organization, which runs a similar school for tribal.
This residential school would provide free education to more than 100 orphans and street-children. The program will start the school and equips it. It will run the school from funds arranged through national and international donations and contributions. The government will completely take over the project after that. The government will have its nominees in the school management. The school board would decide the criterion for selecting students to 12-year residential program.
This program is set to make a suitable building and classroom for the students and to provide educational support and facilities such as books and educational materials, training teachers, school's equipment and a dormitory for students. The total estimated fund for the project is about €12700 that we were able locally raise about €7000 and we decided to raise the remained €5700 internationally.
