Dancing wheels for Irene!

Hi everyone...I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all about the most beautiful person I know (inside and out,) my twin sister, Irene Nolan. An angel on Earth. We are identical twins born on the 26 January 1987, 2 minutes apart. We were born almost three months premature and this sadly lead to Irene being born with cerebral palsy. From birth she lost the use of her legs. For most people this would steal the sweetness out of there lives but Irene being the positive person she is has never seen her disability as something to make her feel sorry for herself or to keep her from reaching for her dreams.

Growing up with her by my side has been the biggest gift I've ever been given. She has taught me so much in life, to never stop dreaming, to never give up and among everything to love this world with all your heart and to take full responsibility for what is happening in your life. To not be a victim to your circumstances but to believe that you and only you can change your path in life-NO MATTER WHAT

Last year she decided to follow her biggest dream of becoming a professional dancer and started going to Ballroom and Latin dancing classes. It is now a year later and she is so happy that she started dancing, saying she wished she started 20 years ago. I can see such a massive change in her confidence as well as her physical abilities. In order to challenge herself even more and to be able to partake in competitions to further her career in ballroom dancing she needs a professional dancing wheel chair. This is the reason I decided to start this page and share her incredible story so that we can raise the funds needed to help her achieve her dreams, so this is it!
