DanceStar International Competition – Croatia (2020)

Our talented 9-year old daughter has been invited to dance at the DanceStar World Finals in Croatia!

After months of exercises and rehearsals, Gabriella and her tight group of modern dancers received first place in the SA Dance Star Qualifiers (held in Pretoria, South Africa).
Gabriella (with her Diversity Modern group) is invited to compete at the world finals which will be held in Croatia, Porec - 16 to 25 May 2020.

If this is not a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her, it definitely is a first.

The trip is quite expensive for our already tight budget, keeping in mind that Gabriella is too young to travel alone - therefore mom needs to go with.
Gabriella is also one of a twin and quite coincidentally their birthday will be during the competition - the twins turn double digits (10) on the 19th of May.

To be able to give Gabriella this opportunity will be amazing but to be able to take her twin sister along and support her as a loving family - will be much more than a wish-come true.

All and all the 8 day trip works out at roughly R25 000 per person (only accommodation and flights) this excludes the preparation and administration involved such as visas, passports as well as obtaining unabridged certificates.
We need to book in advance (through DanceStar) and must put our first deposit (R 10 000) down by the30th of November.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will be able to help us with preparations, bookings as well as deposits.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will really mean a lot to a little girl who's little face lights up and transforms along with the music as she starts to move.
