Dana’s fight against breast cancer

This is my sister, Dana. She's 31 years old. It was January 3rd when she felt a lump on her right breast. Our minds immediately filled with worry after going through the trauma of losing our mother from breast cancer in 2012. She consulted a doctor shortly after and went through a bilateral sonomammography. The findings state that the lump has a moderate suspicion for malignancy. On February 23, my sister told me biopsy results confirmed that the lump tested positive for cancer (duct carcinoma).

My sister is the most selfless, caring and kind hearted person I know. She goes to bible studies every monday night and uses her vacation time to do dental missions. She has devoted her time in taking care of our father for almost a year after he suffered from a stroke two years ago. But being the positive person that she is, she never complained about her situation and believes that this is only the start of her long journey of faith and healing. She hopes to be here with her family while she goes through surgery and possibly further treatment. We hope that you support us through this difficult time.
