Dan Kelly’s Retirement / VHS Wrestling Reunion

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and your support of Venice High School Wrestling. Over the last 25 years Coach Dan Kelly has committed countless hours and considerable effort into growing a program and being a role model for those he has come across. With his time as a Coach at VHS coming to an end, we wanted to properly recognize and thank him for his impact in the community and all he has done.

For the fundraising initiative the suggested donation range is $20-50 per person to cover the cost of the event (venue, food, etc.). As we have recently surpassed our initial goal of funding the retirement ceremony we are now working on the surprise gift. Next year the NCAA National Wrestling Tournament is being held in Madison Square Garden (NYC), it's most expensive venue in years. We would like to help subsidize or pay for his (and a guest's) annual trip to watch the nation's best wrestlers. If we raise $5500 total that should cover flights, hotels, and the all session tickets. Any amount of money over the cost of the event and gift to the coaches will go directly back to program to ensure it's future success and continuation of the legacy Dan has built. • 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Retirement Ceremony and Acknowledgements
• 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM Get Together at Sharky's

The success of this retirement party/reunion relies more on participation and attendance as I'm sure he would love to see all of the former supporters and wrestlers. If you can think of anyone who is interested in attending please share this link PRIVATELY. However, the greater the generosity the more we will be able to accomodate at the event, so please keep that in mind as you consider donating.
