Akitore photo project and a book

Hello Everyone!

I am Damarodas, a photographer. I am doing a personal project which is focused to self esteem, self love and how to analyze and unhide your inner self. This project touches self confidence part of you and it grew out of interest in body dysmorphia disorder. The project is called Akitore. This project I’m calling more like an art therapy than a photoshoot, because I spend more time talking to the person than taking photos. But everything is important equally: the photoshoot, aesthetically pleasing visual which gives different perspective to the person after some time, the conversation and a private cozy area. Also I can see that our natural bodies and our minds are very powerfully connected. We can express ourselves in so many different body languages. That’s why I’m trying to capture moments of the whole session, natural or directed by me and a person in front of the camera, because I call it - the collaboration of life. Everything is created in a comfortable area for the person, with a film point and shoot camera and continuous lights. I would love to spend more time doing this project and helping people to analyze themselves.

My dream is to make this project FREE for everyone. I would love to make everyone equal.

-For the beginning I should buy equipment that works the best for this project, like few continuous lights and additional things for them.

-Second that I would be able to buy film for my camera for project photoshoots.

-Thirdly to buy film developing stuff for the laboratory and a film scanner or collaborate with a film developer.

-And the last thing - be able to rent a place for the photoshoot.

For everything wtitten above to start making it happen - the amount would be 6666€, for the starter. So I am kindly asking You to be a part of this. To help me with a dream project and to help people who wants to participate in it. I believe we will make beautiful things in life together. And I will dedicate my time for this project. I just need a little help from you, to make it possible.

Exhibition is in my mind too. I can see that all these emotions and moments will lay in one place or more. Also i will make a separate section in the book for all of YOU.
