Campaign Story
Recently I came back from a visit to West Africa. It was not at all like the propaganda you read everyday on the web. This country is a prime example of how government infrastructure breaks down. I stayed in Freetown, Sierra Leone, for a week. Although this city looked run down, it is densely populated. There are people everywhere. Traffic control is poor and there were close calls but drivers seems to respect each other. I am surprised and pleased this type of driving behavior actually had fewer accidents and incidents as compare to what we are used to in North America.
There are also hidden treasures waiting for discovery. If you look beneath the surface of decay you will find a city of proud people. They don't have much but they are happy where they are. We can help them show their pride in their achievements and accomplishments. We can help them clean up the city, improve their standard of living and help them place Freetown into the spotlight. With your support we can show the world West Africa is no longer a haven for criminals. It is fast becoming a metropolitan center for commerce and prosperity.
It can all start with the renovation of Banana Island. It is a small island just south of Freetown. It had a private vacation resort called Dalton Banana Guest Houses. This resort is outdated but the potentials for profits are hidden there beneath the surface. It had a full staff for your vacation needs. However they do not have the resources or funding to transform this island resort into a world class vacation getaway. You can make it happen. With your contributions we can show the world we had not forgotten the 42 million citizens that live in Freetown. We can show we care about them and we are willing to help them build a prosperous future. All it take is someone who is willing to step forward and take the lead. You can be that lead. Join us today. Together we will change the world for the better.
