Dallas ECMO Course 2019
I am Jetz Cruz. I am a heart surgeon in the Philippines (check my LinkedIn profile above) . I am privileged to have the chance to care for both adult and children with heart diseases. In our institution, we always aim to constantly improve our standards of patient care. One way to accomplish this is to look for avenues to garner knowledge and improve skills.
One of this avenue that I have been planning to attend is the Dallas ECMO Course (2019 link above). ECMO is a special medical management modality designed to give patients with certain almost fatal heart and lung diseases a chance for recovery. It's a skill and expertise that requires specialized training. And it is this particular expertise that I would like to learn.
In this site, I hope I would be able to raise the necessary funds for the March 2020 course registration, the flight to Dallas and back, and the hotel stay. Help me raise the funds, so I can help more patients in our country.
