Campaign Story
The Breede Centre in the rural village of McGregor, Western Cape, is raising funds for Dalesia's Educare qualification.
Auntie Lisa, as she is know, is a 38 year old single mother with 3 children of her own. But she is a mother to many more village children. Lisa is something of an earth mother who comforts and educates the little children who are coming to the afternoon and holiday programs at the Breede Centre lovingly and seemingly effortlessly. She was a kindergarten assistant in a local school for 13 years and has been at the centre since October 2016. It has been Lisa's dream to attain an Educare qualification as she says that her calling in life is to help children in need. And there are plenty of children in need in our small village of McGregor.
With an Educare qualification she would be able to set up her own kindergarten or creche and give the smallest children the best start in life. With a passion like hers there is no doubt that any child will benefit from her care.
Lisa will do a three year accredited National Certificate distance training learning course with Oxbridge Academy in Stellenbosch. If she have all three years then she will receive an National Diploma Educare.
