Dailysis for ate thess

I am Rocky Cahanap and this is my sister,her name is Teresita Cahanap,single mom with 3 children, she was diagnosed with Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease, secondary to Diabetic Neuropathy.

I remembered before being hospitalized, she felt weak due to her swollen feet and legs. She also had shortness of breath and found her having a hard time breathing. She could not sleep on her back as she felt like she was drowning. One day, to her abnormal heart beat, she was taken straight to ICU right away and she needed to be monitored closely. That’s when we found out she was a diabetic with a kidney and a heart complication. She suffered pneumonia and lost her appetite.

We recovered in about 17 days and was discharged from the hospital. She was given a lot of medications to take , including daily maintenance, insulin as well as full monitoring of my water intake and urine. 2 months later, all the symptoms of her initial diagnosis came back and she was taken back to the hospital for the second time. This time was worst. She was not able to eat, talk, not able to recognized anyone and fully lost her consciousness. The doctors did not give up on her and did their best to help her.

She was put on dialysis due to her creatine level. After a month hospital stay, she was out of the ICU. Although she is no longer require hospice, her dialysis, twice a week of injection will continue for the rest of her life, daily/ regular maintenance for her heart and kidney medications, as well as to ensure that her sugar levels are within limits. She has future procedures that needs to be performed, She has been wearing a catheter for 5 months now on her neck and this needs to be transferred as soon as possible and will be going through a fistula surgery.

We've been facing a difficult road, and we humbly ask for your generosity as she will need all the help we can get to cover her expenses with her medical bills. Anything is greatly appreciated. I am hoping that through Gods blessing and goodness of people who hear or read her story will feel moved enough to help in anyway they can.
