My name is Declyn Thomas, and I am raising funds to start production and shoot a trailer for my first feature film in order to garner interest from investors.  That's me in the picture with my dog.  She has nothing to do with this, but hey, isn't she cute? 

The film will be a full length feature about a woman coming to terms with the mistakes in her life, her relationships with her children and the death of her mother.  A dark comedy set in a small southern town, this as yet untitled film tells a story familiar to all, but with an fun comedic twist.  

Those crazy relatives you don't want anyone to know you have?  They're here.  Those situations no one would believe if they hadn't seen it themselves?  They're here too.   Anyone who grew up, or knows someone who grew up in the South will find someone or something to relate to. 

A refreshing take on mothers and children, families, and the secrets that often come out at the worst possible moment, it will be an enjoyable and relatable film for all.  

Since this isn't the final film, I don't have DVD's to offer or premiere tickets, or special VIP perks.  All I can really offer is the chance to be a part of something at the beginning, and to watch a project grow and blossom into reality.  I will, however, keep everyone who donates up to date on how it's coming, and give you a special behind the scenes look at the the magic of seeing a movie come to life on the big screen.
