Dad’s Fight Against Aneurysm

My dad, Norberto Maninang Jr. , was recently diagnosed with thoracic aortic aneurysm. He has been suffering from repetitive series of chest and back pains. His CT Aortogram result confirmed that the size of the aneurysm from ascending aorta, aortic arch and portion of descending aorta is already on a critical condition that any moment it could just erupt which is fatal.

The doctor advised him that he needs an urgent surgery (open chest procedure) to treat his condition but this requires a very big lump of money.

Perhaps the toughest part is in the realization that we can’t overcome this medical hardship without asking for the kindness of others.

My dad is turning 65 next month and his healing will be the most important gift that we can give. He had been the source of strength for our family and it is just very painful to watch him suffer.
