Hi everyone, thank you for reaching me. I have created this fundraiser in order to help achieve the goal of getting my dad to full mobility & hopefully to a happier life for him. So heres my story..

Among several health issues, my dad has hereditary gout & arthritis which affects his everyday life. It targets his hands, knees & ankles. Due to this, he doesn't have full function of his hands & legs as there is not much support in his hands, ankles & legs to move around efficiently, therefore he uses a crutch to get himself from point A to B making his mobility more stressful but nonetheless he can move around. Driving is a great stuggle for him and more often then not he is unable to.

The arthritis in his ankle & knee have caused the structural tissues to decay & he has lost almost all tissue support leaving his bones grinding on one another in the joint areas. His ankle has curved to nearly a 90 degree angle this causing him to walk on the side of his foot. (AS SHOWN IN PICTURES) His knee has also little to no support & sits also at a scew angle due to there being no support and it being bone to bone. He is unable to stand alone without support of both a shoe and his crutch, often he makes use of a moon boot to give him the extra support needed.

The doctors have found a way to solve my dad's problem and give him the support he needs in both his ankle and knee. His first opp is on the 12th of February 2019. Whereby they will fuse my dad's ankle with a Titanium Rod going up through his ankle into his leg. This creating a more supportive ankle although he will have no movement. The healing process of this is 6 months. After the 6 months he is required to go for his knee opp. This will be a for a knee replacement. Unfortunately the process may not take place after those 6 months due to funds as well.

Thus, any money raised will contribute towards fees for the operations, medication & treatment, as well as specialist consultations.

My father suffers daily from agonizing pain & my only wish is for him to live a healthy and happy life, in which i ask for any donations towards this.

Your support is greatly appreciated for this cause. Thanking you in advance.
