Before anything else, let me introduce our Dada to you.

Ronald "Allan" O. Sanchez has always been very hard-working. He is the type of father who would do EVERYTHING just to let his kids have what they need, and sometimes what they want. We are not a wealthy family, so he sacrificed himself and went to Dubai for work. He worked very hard just to get to where we are today.

Given the fact that he is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), we don't get to be together like what a normal family would be. He only goes back to the Philippines once every two years and he'd only spend two months here. It has been like that for almost 20 years already. It has always been our dream to be able to live in the same house.

Last September 2020, he went for a check-up because his feces are unusually dark. He underwent some test and the doctor found a tumor on the upper part of his kidney (specifically on the adrenal gland). The doctors have done necessary procedures to see if the tumor is benign or malignant. Unfortunately, it is malignant and he is diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney Cancer.

The doctors said that it would be dangerous to manage this with surgery because it is very risky. Hence, the doctors prescribed medications to help decrease the size of the tumor. If it will turn out effectively, that's the time they can proceed with the surgery.

His medications were covered initially by his insurance that was given by his current employer as one of his benefits. He's taken these medications for six months. However, the doctors found out that the medication has done almost no significance to the tumor. He is then prescribed with an Immunotherapy Drug for Renal Cell Carcinoma. This costs so much that even with our family's combined efforts, it will still not suffice.

We would still want our dream of living in the same house come true. Please help us have a chance to make this a reality. That is also the reason why we have decided to put up this fundraising page. We are hoping that our friends, family or anyone who come across this page, would help us raise funds due to high medical costs and other expenses regarding our Dada's health condition.

Any amount will be a lot of help. If you do wish to donate, we would like to thank you in advance because you are helping us fight this battle with our Dada. Sharing this post would also mean a lot to us. Big big thank you! God bless you!

You may also get in touch with me and my family if you need help on donating on this page or if you want to know the other donation/payment channels that we have:
