Join us to remember and celebrate a beloved friend, classmate, son, and brother. One of Daanish’s loves was soccer, and on Saturday, December 1, we will honor his memory with an alumni game under the lights at Emerson High School, followed by a reception in the school cafeteria.
Anyone, regardless of skill level or experience, is invited to participate! Or, come just to enjoy the game and support the Khan family.
Players will be asked to donate $10, while the suggested donation for other attendees is $5. (But, of course, any amount is welcome.) All proceeds will benefit a scholarship in Daanish’s name, to be awarded to an EHS student who will study the sciences in college.
If you’d like to play, please leave a comment to that effect on the Facebook event page or send me a direct message; we’d like to get a headcount and organize teams ahead of time.
