Cyprus Helpers COVID-19 is a 100% Volunteer Group - established to bring together helpers and those who need our help.

The COVID-19 Panademic is affecting us all but some much more than others. With the continued lockdown in place many now do not have any income, some are unable to access benefits and those that can have to wait many weeks for any payments.

There are also stranded tourists and students who are unable to return to their home countries and loved ones. In the meantime many of those impacted by the pandemic are struggling to be able to buy essential items including food.

We have been collecting food donations and collaborating with our group members and partner organisations to prepare and deliver much needed food boxes and prepared meals plus other essentials for families, individuals and groups.

With the lockdown and limited essential travel of once per day many people are struggling to donate physical food items to our collection points.

We have set up this "GoGetFunding" page to kindly ask for - your help to help us to help those in need - until the restrictions are lifted and we can all get back to some sense of normality.

Why do we do what we do?

Because we all at some time in our lives need a little help and knowing that there are people out there willing to help those in need and bring a little happiness into their lives makes it all worthwhile.
