The COVID-19 Pandemic is affecting us all but some much more than others. With the continued lockdown in place many now do not have any income, some are unable to access benefits and those that can have to wait many weeks for any payments.

There are also stranded tourists and students who are unable to return to their home countries and loved ones. In the meantime many of those impacted by the pandemic are struggling to be able to buy essential items including food.

We have been collecting food donations and collaborating with our group members and partner organisations to prepare and deliver much needed food boxes and prepared meals plus other essentials for families, individuals and groups.

With the lockdown and limited essential travel of once per day many people are struggling to donate physical food items to our collection points.

Cyprus Helpers is a 100% Volunteer Group - established to bring together helpers and those who need our help.

Why do we do what we do?

Because we all at some time in our lives need a little help and knowing that there are people out there willing to help those in need and bring a little happiness into their lives makes it all worthwhile.

"Dad's infection has been 'nipped in the bud' because of this site and the immediate help we got. This prevented the infection going to his brain.
If he had not got this medication yesterday, I'm SURE he would have ended up in hospital, disorientated, confused and worse still, alone.
This one little bit of help has done so much more...
It's saved €1000's, a hospital bed, nurses and doctors time, and that bed did not need to be taken up by something preventable.
This actually could have saved his life.

FOOD AID WILL BE DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING DAY OR SUBJECT TO ARRANGEMENTS.

100% of all funds donated (minus the platforms fees) will be used towards supporting those who need our help. Thankyou.
