I am from Fiji Islands, a small dot on the world map located in the tropical climate environment. On 20 and 21 February Category 5 Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston cut a path of destruction across Fiji. Unfortunately my best friend home village was under the track of the cyclone and completely destroyed his house, environment, livestock and injured his loved ones. Since the cyclone, many NGO and Government came with needs and promises to help rebuild his home and the country with the aids received from other countries. Promises remained words as hopes till today. Fiji Islands cyclone and hurricane season starts from November and ends in April. This usually destroys all his family farms.
My friend saving were used to rebuild at tent type house with rusting tins with wires holding on to wooden planks and tarpaulins used to shear the water from entering the everywhere in the house. I always supported my friend financial and morale to rebuild his home but Fiji have already given more cyclones approaching. On behalf my friend, I would like your help to rebuild his family so that my friend can continue his studies and work. Also this will help him to at least continue sending money to meet his farming parents needs while they wait for sun to shine again.
I will donate 10 percent of all funds raised plus will add 10 percent again from my saving to local flood victims relief for their community. As we are in the rainy season again, 12 cyclone predictions have been laid for our beautiful islands and low pressure is always on our heads.
My friend is not aware I'm running this campaign for him because he will be against me but as a friend of him, in the name of humanity, I would like to see happiness on his face also.
Any donation or encourage notes will all be shared with him once this campaign will close. You donation will be really helpful and I promise this funds will be only used make his life normal to meet his families daily needs and rebuild the house.
I would also appreciate note of encouragement and pray. Thank you.
