Campaign Story
On August 13th 2017, I will be taking part in the Ride-Walk-Run for GSD event at Richmond Park, cycling the 12km/7.5mile perimeter of the park as many times as I can to raise funds for the Cori's Disease Research Fund.
The extra challenge is that I have Cori's disease myself, so to help with this I will be using my ebike. This bike has been brilliant in helping me ride distances that only normal people can achieve. Before I had it, I could barely cycle two miles and cycling was simply not a viable hobby for me. For this event, I should be able to ride 30-50km.
I want to do this to encourage others in a similar position to me as well as raise money for researching into this rare disease which little is known about.
