Paul Jacobs, cycling ambassador for Abundant Life Palliative Care will cycle across the world's oldest desert (The Namib) in the 2016 Desert Dash in order to collect funds and raise the profile of Abundant Life Palliative Care.

Abundant Life provide care for the terminally ill, giving dignity and compassion to those who cannot afford the high costs of medical care. They also assist the families in coping with the associated challenges.

Abundant Life ultimately aims to establish a palliative care unit in every South African hospital caring for those on their final life's journey.

Paul: My father died in June this year of lung cancer and all he wanted to do " was go home". He was diagnosed very late which resulted in him passing away in a hospital bed. Abundant Life focus on the terminally ill patient having complete peace of mind when they are on their final stage of their life's race. This reality hit me hard in the last days of my dad's life. I am now motivated more than ever to highlight and support Abundant Life in their dream to establish palliative care in all South African hospitals.

Please support our cause by donating now!

Donations can also be made at www.abundantlifevic.org .Please reference "cycling".

Thank you all!
