Cycling Around the World for 65th!!

I need your help friends, family and adventure lovers everywhere!

On 22 May 2019 I will set out from Paris, France on the longest overland voyage of my life – a cycling circumnavigation of planet Earth! Though I’m unlikely to be the fastest, it is possible I will be the oldest!

My entire journey will be solo and self-supported, meaning I’ll carry all I need to survive in my panniers. I’ll cover a distance of 20,000 miles, and I hope to complete the journey in time to celebrate my 65^th birthday on 25^th September 2020.

I’ve made great efforts towards my dream. I’ve sold my personal belongings to fund my attempt to cycle solo and unsupported around the world. I’ve saved enough money to feed and basically look after myself along the journey. I’ve also bought my bike, panniers and gear.

But I can’t manage to pay for everything. I need your support. Your help can enable me to achieve this ambition, and change my life.

Your contributions will go towards:

• Visas and flights, including bike transport – Beijing-Hanoi, Singapore-Perth, Brisbane-Invercargill, Auckland-Vancouver and Halifax NS-Lisbon
• SPOT GEN3 tracker service to provide real time tracking/global positioning
• City accommodation any other expenses while I am away
