The Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Mission Team - from Concord, NC - will be installing a water filtration system in a Honduras community in the Spring of 2017.

Our leaders have been trained by Living Waters for the World in the areas of building and maintaining the system, water testing, hygiene, and they are equipped to develop a clean water covenant with their community. We will have a 2 to 3 year partnership with the community leaders to help with the operation and maintenance of the system as well as provide the most current educational materials for the residents.

One of four children suffer from hepatitis and each year the community loses 4 to 5 children to PREVENTABLE waterborne disease.
