CT Scan for growth in Amber

My companion of 15 years has always had perfect health until 2 or 3 weeks ago, it started with a cough every time she ran or stretched. My dad took her to the vet while I was driving on holiday, and he called me with the news. Her organs were in perfect health except the X-Rays showed she has a growth in her chest pushing against her Trachea which is causing the cough. The vet is unsure if it’s benign or cancerous. I either have to just leave it and see what happens or go for a CT scan to give me the results which I can’t afford. Its a possibility that it is a Thymoma tumor and it is roughly the size of a golf ball now. This tumor can get to the size of a melon and push against the lungs and heart. The CT scan is also to show whether or not it can be surgically removed. I don’t want to have to put her down just because I can’t afford the scan. She still runs around the house as if she were still a puppy. NOTE: All extra funds over the goal, will be donated to an animal shelter.
