Welcome to our 3rd annual Crystal Lake fundraiser! A project aimed at giving our readers and authors only the best in 2020.
Be sure to keep an eye on our #CrystalLake2020 hashtag on social media for updates and new perks.
As we near the end of yet another year of indie publishing, it’s time to look into the future and what 2020 has in store for Crystal Lake Publishing and our fans. If this year is any indication, there will be good times and there will be tough times for small presses, and we need to do what we can to ensure we always deliver the highest quality work and services to our ever-growing market of authors and readers. We'd rather be proactive, put in some extra work now, and make sure it's smooth sailing for another great year.
With your support we’ll be able to take Crystal Lake Publishing to even greater heights. Our main focus in 2020 will be to make our book launches even bigger, incorporating more Instagram and YouTube reviewers/influencers by sending out more paperback ARCs. There are many great ways to market a book, but unfortunately we can only pick a handful with every release. With a bit more funds behind each book, we'll be able to reach a wider market.
Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Our 2020 and early 2021 releases include books by:
Mercedes M. Yardley, C.S. Alleyne, Jonathan Winn, Rex Hurst, Jasper Bark, Mark Allan Gunnells, Ben Lathrop, Graham Masterton, Jason Parent, Elana Gomel, Douglas Wynne, and many more.

More about Crystal Lake Publishing:
Founded in August 2012, Crystal Lake skyrocketed to success in only a few years, establishing itself as quite the success story among small press publications. Since that day we’ve won 5 Bram Stoker awards, several This Is Horror awards, numerous poetry awards, various smaller awards, and dozens of nominations, including a Shirley Jackson award nomination just this year.
We strive to work with young up-and-coming authors, talented newbies, and legends in the field. Our books are filled with names like Wes Craven, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, George A. Romero, Charlaine Harris, Jack Ketchum, Mercedes M. Yardley, Josh Malerman, Kevin Lucia, William Meikle, Ramsey Campbell, Elizabeth Massie, Todd Keisling, Jasper Bark, Kenneth W. Cain, Richard Thomas, Joe R. Lansdale, Chad Lutzke, John Connolly, Stephen King, Christopher Golden, Tim Lebbon, Lisa Morton, Edward Lee, Adam Nevill, Jonathan Maberry, George A. Romero, Taylor Grant, John F.D. Taff, John Langan, and hundreds more (yes, hundreds!).
We also offer various methods of support to authors, including editorial services and monthly mentoring programs. About two years ago we also started a coalition of publishers to support authors if their publisher goes under (if this ever happens to you, please get in touch).
We have various writing contests and challenges, and offer even more fiction and On Writing support to authors and readers via our Patreon page.
