Crushing Cancer for Gladys

We are raising this fund raiser for my wife, GLADYS MANGILA - a proud mother of two lovely, beautiful girls (ages 5 and 2), and an amazing wife. She used to work for one of the happiest places here in the Philippines - Jollibee!

We've been moving heaven and earth to make ends meet and to save/raise money for her treatment.She has been battling cancer for quite a while now, but just this week, it already spread to her brain which calls for an emergency surgery, and so we are knocking on your kind hearts to please help us raise more funds so we can raise at least 500,000 PHP within 2 weeks, before anything critical happens.

Here is her full story, narrated by Gladys:

"I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 3B early this year. I underwent regular chemotherapy and radiation therapy, however my cancer cells didn't respond well to those treatments as I was later diagnosed with HER2 positive.

So what is HER2 positive? It's a more aggressive form of cancer cells and will only respond to a drug called "Herceptin". This drug cost 80,000-90,000 PHP per vial and I need 18 sessions – so roughly it will cost us around 1.6M PHP to complete the whole procedure. First session will start this October 3rd week, session is every 21 days.

**UPDATE**

This week, we found out that my cancer already spread to my brain and radiosurgery needs to be performed AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The procedure will cost us 500,000 PHP.

I stopped working and so to help my husband in all expenses we've been raising funds through "shirt for a cause", however, this won't suffice to cover my medical needs, hence I need to ask from you guys if I can ask for your support.
