Campaign Story
Kabira Haimoud, from Casablanca, Morocco, dear beloved mom of my wife and her 10 years-old brother, and the mother in law I truly adore, has been struck with a critical condition that came all of a sudden.
She has suffered a stroke that could be fatal, but she survived, however, her health is still at a great risk. According to doctors, she may get another stroke or heart attack, due to her health condition, and she needs a lengthy and costly treatment.
Apart from that, as a post-stroke patient, she needs to undergo a lengthy rehabilitation, to regain her movement, speech, etc., simply, to regain self, if possible, at least partially..
We originally thought she has an aneurysm that ruptured, but MRI scan proved that she had many serious clots in her veins due to high cholesterol levels, plus a very high blood pressure, both untreated until now, unfortunately. She has big clots even in main arteries, the one to the brain and another leading to her heart. Therefore, it is absolutely crucial to undergo a continuous special treatment tailored to her condition.
Kabira's husband can only provide as much as needed for everyday, common expenses. The close family have contributed financially as well, in the beginning, but their resources are limited, however they are willing to help with taking care of the mom. Me and my wife have helped with all we could; my wife went there to be with her mom, and to arrange everything. We would like to contribute more, but we have ourselves gotten through hard times, and my wife herself needs treatment for an auto-immune disease causing her pain every single day.
The money raised are going to be used for her medication, doctor visits, hospital stays if needed, and the post-stroke rehabilitation. We appreciate every help, thank You!

Imane and Ladislav, I hope your mum/mother-in-law has a speedy recovery. Sounds like they did not give her thrombolising medicine quickly enough. It will be a difficult time but some people improve dramatically after a stroke. My prayers are with your whole family. LoVe Pauline

High Hopes
Update posted by Ladislav Haluska at 11:54 pmHi, this is the latest update by 10th Nov. 2015. The news are very good, my mom in law's rehabilitation progresses really well! Her movement is improving, a bit by a bit. She is able to walk short distances without an assistance, yet with difficulties, because she doesn't have so. . . . .
Important - mom suffered a stroke, but survives, correct diagnosis made..
Update posted by Ladislav Haluska at 12:29 pmI am updating the news.. my wife's mom has suffered a stroke, yet she survived. As doctors said, there wasn't a high change she can survive, but she did, and we need to do everything we can to take care of her, improve her health and thus prevent another stroke. . . . .

I'm very sorry to hear this news Ladislav and I enjoyed meeting your mother in law when I visited your place last year. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you are able to raise the money you need for this surgery. Lots of love from Australia
