Hi my name is Joi from South Carolina. I am 33 years old. Three years ago I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease, IBS, Gerd and acid reflux.  I also have hypertension, hidradenitis and im lactose. Last year in July I had to have surgery to remove 6 inches of my small intestine and colon also my apendex was removed.  I had a bowel blockage due to the Crohns. I stayed in the hospital for a week. Was put on a cocktail of pills and a Intravenous infusion  . The pills are very expensive as well as the Infusion.  I can't work because I am always sick and im in and out of the doctor's offices and hospitals. The little income I get I must use to take care of my 12 year old daughter and pay medical bills.  Times for me have been very challenging. I need any help I can get so that I may continue to get my treatments. The treatments are intravenous every 8 weeks. The medicine that I get in the treatments is called Remicade. These treatments have made the disease manageable. If anyone can help I would truly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for all the donations and for taking the time to read my story.
