Croatian folklore dance group need support

We are folklore dance group called "Prigorski zdenec" from small village in Zagreb, Croatia. Our goal is to preserve Croatian cultural heritage and pass the old customs to the younger generations. We are very proud of our history and customs and love to learn it and show other people our culture and work. We have around 60 members form 4-70 years old.

Usually we have performances in Croatia and near European countries because most fund we get are not enough for finance and organize events and longer trips and financing such trips in private cost of members isn't possible because most members doesn't have financial possibilities for such expense.

Next year we are invited to attend event held in Istanbul, Turkey called Evening of Croatian folklore. At the event, on 24th and 25th of May 2019., different folklore groups from different parts of Croatia will present Croatian culture through different dances and songs.

Our group will love to participate is such an event. The trip would be very special for our members also because most of our members have never traveled outside Europe.
