Criminal Defense against Computer Technician and Accused Distribution of Child Pornography

On May 1st, DeSoto County (Mississippi) executed a warrant against myself and my family for possession of child pornography and distribution because I am a computer repair technician who handles dozens if not hundreds of computers on a yearly basis. Unfortunately this horrendous material was stored on a computer server that I use to help backup and preserve all data that I can for the benefits of my customers and I have never been the kind of person to snoop through anybody's personal files because of privacy concerns and someone took advantage of my conditions and placed in my possession a computer that indeed had connections to child pornography. Because this computer was in my home during the execution I was found to be liable and was arrested. During the search period other belongings of mine such as a rifle and old prescription medication prescribed to me was confiscated illegally. Even after I was bonded out I came home to a trashed house as well as a dropped bag of narcotic medication meant for disposal that looks as if it was attempted to be smuggled from my home but right now i can not assert these claims to be entirely true because of where the case stands as of right now. The County is in the process of holding tens of thousands of dollars of computer hardware and I've had to secure a top notch lawyer just to pray that I don't face jail time for acts I did not take any place in. I have been a law-abiding citizen for my adult life and all of my friends and family can attest to this. I cannot say that I've always been the perfect role model but after sewing my wild oats as a teenager I've been a positive force in my community and law enforcement is now looking to shame my name and business into oblivion and it has drained me financially and more importantly emotionally. Even if I win my court case my reputation will take years to untarnish and I just want my day in court and to show my innocence and move forward the best way possible. I am a good man with good values and most importantly I am a God-fearing man who knows right from wrong.
