Cricket for Cause!

I'm Monish. I’m 16, I love cricket and I want to make a change.

In India, thousands of underprivileged children have the enthusiasm, motivation and the talent to pursue cricket at a professional level. However, unfortunately, they are defeated by the cruelties of poverty. Many of whom, if provided with the financial assistance, expert training and a passionate mentor, would achieve and exceed far beyond their capabilities.

Driven by my passion for the game, I have decided to partner with Darshanam Cricket Club (DCC), an academy based in my hometown of Gujarat (Vadodara), to facilitate 20 underprivileged, yet skilful and capable individuals under the age of 15 in reaching their dream of pursuing cricket professionally.

My passion to establish this fundraiser partially stems from my inability to play cricket in Hong Kong due to unprecedented COVID circumstances. By raising awareness and funds I hope to impart my passion for the game to those who could potentially play in Gujarat. In essence, I am eager for talent in cricket to keep improving, and would love for like-minded players to excel in their sporting journeys.

With YOUR help, we can support the following areas for our young players:

• Equipment (bats, helmets, gloves, pads, cricket clothes, shoes etc.)
• Academy fees (year long)
• Private coaching (lead by experts who have even competed in first class cricket)
