Creative Space Renovation

Egyesek Youth Association wants to renovate the Creative Space in Hollókő - our youth training centre - that held many training opportunities and youth exchanges throughout the years, bringing together participants, trainers, organisers and the local community.

The renovation tasks consist of painting and refurbishing the rooms (beds, pillows, mattresses), and renovating the bathrooms to ensure a more comfortable space during the events taking place in Creative Space centre.

Who are we?

Create Space aims to contribute to the personal and professional development of the people participating in activities there. We support them to find their place in the world and in their lives, to become active, creative and responsible citizens. We provide the location, logistics, and an inspiring environment for activities that create value for youth and informal groups, social projects, courses, families, and friends. We operate the Youth Centre as a social enterprise, and the income from our rental services supports the maintenance of the house, the programs, and our objectives to work with the local youth, create jobs, and to develop the local community. We even create job opportunities for disadvantaged local youngsters and young adults by running Creative Space.

Why support the renovation?

Support the youth workers and help them to find a better home in Creative Space for their youth exchanges, training, or workcamps.

In 2010 with the help of 100 volunteers by our own power we redesigned Creative Space and now, after 12 years and 100+ events, it is time to renovate and beautify our centre. The future participants need better care, and the space needs to comply with local regulations as well.

Help us fund the renovation!

We need 10.000.000 HUF (aprox. 25.000 EUR) for the renovation. We have to renew 9 rooms, as well as their separate showers and toilets. We will also be painting the rooms, changing their furniture, showers, and wash basins. It is only through donors like you that we can ensure young people a better space for their events and development.

What your donation can provide:

• 7.5 EUR - A new pillow
• 10 EUR - 10l white paint for wall
• 15 EUR - One square metre of new wall tiles
• 40 EUR - A new mattress

Your donation will also be destined to buy paint, painting equipment, furniture, and various materials for the renovation.
