Creating Childrem from Favelas of Sao Paulo a future

I am collecting donations for the carrier “Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e. V”, which also supports the project “Associação Comunitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo”. “Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e. V.” is a charitable organization, supporting different projects across the whole world and they stand up for national, as well as international volunteers, so that they are able to offer their support independent from the financial status. I for myself want to get involved as a volunteer at the “Associação Comunitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo” for one year, therefore I need your donation. The project is a non-profit organization and lives from donations. Although they just get insufficient help, the project is very important for the community there. “Associacao Communitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo” works with adults and children from different favelas to find together a way out of the vicious circle of unemployment, lack of education, as well as drugs and huge violence, since 1979. The children receive a safe shelter, in which they can unfold their own personality. Unlike usually, it is possible for them to just be a kid at this place. The organization was found by the Waldorf education teacher Ute Craemer and other people from the South of Sao Paulo and keeps growing since then. The long-term goals of Monte Azul are to support the initiative of the favela inhabitants and to help them to unfold their own potential, as well as to show them prospect. All the activities of Monte Azul follow the Waldorf education and the anthroposophy. I for myself want to be part of this voluntary, because I appreciate this project and it gives me hope for the children, who sadly have less privileges than I used to have as a child. I want to give them all my time and attention, I want to be there for them, listen to them, laugh with them, teach them, learn with them and play with them. Moreover, I want to support the whole project with my voluntary work. Without their volunteers Monte Azul could not survive. My journey, as well as the experiences from the project will be held down on the social media platform “Instagram” (@ballinbrazil), where I will regularly post pictures and stories, so that you as donator also can follow the project. The departure is at the beginning of September 2020 and 3.400€ are needed.

The donated money will be paid to the carrier “Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e. V.” and then will go to the project “Associação Comunitária Monte Azul”, which will make it possible for me to support this project for a whole year and also helps the project.

Ich sammele spenden für den Träger Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e. V., welcher unter anderem, das Projekt Associação Comunitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo unterstützt. Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners e. V. ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die verschiedene Projekte auf der ganzen Welt unterstütz und sich dafür einsetzt, dass nationale, sowie internationale Freiwillige ihre Unterstützung unabhängig vom finanziellen Status anbieten können. Ich selbst möchte mich für ein Jahr als Freiwilligenhelfer bei der Associação Comunitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo engagieren und benötige daher Ihre Spende. Das Projekt läuft ohne jegliche staatliche Unterstützung und basiert rein auf Spenden. Trotz mangelnder Hilfeleistungen ist das Projekt von hoher Bedeutung für die Community vor Ort. Bereits seit 1979 arbeitet die Associacao Communitária Monte Azul in Sao Paulo, mit den Erwachsenen und Kindern aus verschiedenen Favelas, um gemeinsam einen Weg aus dem Teufelskreis der Arbeitslosigkeit, der geringen Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten sowie Drogen und Gewalt zu finden. Die Kinder und Jugendliche erhalten eine sichere und schutzbietende Anlaufstelle, in der sie sich frei entfalten können. Anders als üblich, ist es ihnen an diesem Ort möglich einfach Kind zu sein. Die Organisation wurde von der Waldorfpädagogin Ute Craemer und anderen Menschen im südlichen Teil von Sao Paulo gegründet und ist seither stetig gewachsen. Zu den langfristigen Zielen von Monte Azul gehört, die Eigeninitiative der Favelabewohner*innen zu fördern und ihnen zu helfen, die eigenen Potenziale zu entfalten, sowie Perspektiven aufzuweisen und diese gemeinsam zu ergreifen. Dabei liegen alle Aktivitäten der Waldorfpädagogik und Anthroposophie zu Grunde. Ich selbst möchte an diesem Freiwilligendienst teilnehmen, da mich das Projekt begeistert und mir Hoffnung für die Kinder gibt, die leider weniger Privilegien haben, als ich sie hatte. Ich möchte ihnen meine ganze Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit schenken, für sie da sein, mit ihnen lachen, sie unterrichten, mit ihnen lernen und spielen. Des Weiteren möchte ich das ganze Projekt mit meiner freiwilligen Arbeit unterstützen, da es ohne ihre freiwilligen Helfer nicht aufrechterhalten werden könnte. Meine Reise, sowie die Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen aus dem Projekt werde ich dann auf der sozialen Plattform "Instagram" festhalten (Name @ballinbrazil), in dem ich regelmäßig Beiträge und Geschichten veröffentliche, damit auch Sie als Spender die Möglichkeit haben das Projekt zu Verfolgen . Die Ausreise erfolgt Anfang September 2020 und es werden 3.400€ benötigt.
