Creating a stable future for my children

After four and a half years of equal time with my children, their mother decided she wanted them full time and took action to eliminate me from their lives.

I’m now faced with the tragic reality that is sadly all to common. One minute you have a loving, respectful and trusting relationship with your children. You cuddle and joke, play and coach, educate and guide. Then in a matter of months your family life is in tatters. Your child or children now refuse to talk to you or even look at you on the basis of falsehoods and stories. You are faced with a long legal battle with a person who is rapidly escalating matters in a win at all costs game. Except, it’s not a game, it’s a life changing event for everyone.

Through applying to the Federal Circuit Court, I now have my son back. The look on his face the first day I was able to pick up from school told me I was doing the right thing.

However, the little girl in this picture has a long way to go and I now have a big task to unravel the damage and set her up for life. This case is ongoing and will take time to resolve – both in therapy and through the courts. But, I’m at the point where my financial resources have been depleted and I can’t do this without your help.
